Previous owner Don Norman led the charge since 1987, and our team bring over three decades of hands-on experience and expert advice to the community.

Now under new management, we’ve got everything you need to care for your pool, whether you’re after filters, solar heaters, pumps, chlorinators, chemicals, or cleaners.

    Shane is the newest member of the Ashmore Pools team, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise from Western Australia. Recently relocating to the Gold Coast to be closer to his family, Shane is a hard-working technician with a “no job too hard” attitude. His skillset covers all aspects of pool maintenance, repairs, and installations, making him a valuable asset to the team.

    Shane enjoys working with his hands, being outdoors, and ensuring safe and healthy pools for families to enjoy. As an avid sailor, he balances his professional dedication with a love for the water, both on and off the job. Shane's unwavering commitment to his work and exceptional customer service has quickly earned him the trust and admiration of Ashmore Pools' clients. His contributions go beyond measure, and the team is thrilled to have him onboard.

    POOL TECHNICIAN

    With over 10 years of experience in the pool industry, Jason brings unparalleled expertise to Ashmore Pools. Starting his career as a pool builder, Jason understands every vertical required to create and maintain healthy, safe, and stunning pools. From repairs and installations to maintenance and customer service, he’s done it all.

    Jason is highly skilled in troubleshooting and repairing pool equipment, ensuring your pool systems operate seamlessly. Known as the most approachable bloke on the coast, Jason excels at building lasting relationships with clients. He takes the time to educate homeowners about pool care in simple, practical ways, giving them the confidence to enjoy their pools year-round.

    Still deeply connected to the Ashmore community, Jason can often be found playing indoor cricket or spending time with his family. His love for sports and keeping busy reflects his energetic, hands-on approach to his work.

    Whether you need expert advice or a friendly face to help with your pool needs, Jason is here to ensure your experience is nothing short of exceptional.

    Don has been the heart and soul of Ashmore Pools for an incredible 38 years. With a lifelong passion for pumps, pools, and equipment, Don built a business that has become a Gold Coast icon, renowned for being the best in the business. His unparalleled knowledge of pools, pumps, chlorinators, and repairs earned him the title of the "Don of Pools." Known for his integrity and commitment to doing what’s right, Don has always focused on solutions that benefit his customers, building a reputation for honesty and expertise.

    As he transitions into retirement, Don looks forward to spending more time with his wife and family, exploring Australia in his self-built camper, and indulging his love for diving and spearfishing. While he’s excited for this new chapter, Don remains a part of the Ashmore Pools family and will always be available to share his wisdom or even tackle the occasional install.

    Don takes great pride in the legacy he leaves behind — a business that has stood the test of time and made a lasting impact on the Gold Coast community. His 38 years of dedication are a testament to the trust and loyalty he has built with customers, ensuring Ashmore Pools will continue to thrive for years to come.

    POOL TECHNICIAN

    Jess is a vital part of the Ashmore Pools team, ensuring our customers’ pools are sparkling and well-balanced. Originally hailing from New Zealand, Jess has traveled extensively and now embraces the Australian outdoor lifestyle, calling the Gold Coast home.

    With a background in marketing and experience launching her own coffee cart business, Jess brings a strong customer-first mindset and a can-do attitude to her role. She’s positive, friendly, and always willing to help our customers - making her a perfect fit for our growing team. Whether she’s assisting customers in-store, or out on the road servicing your pool - Jess approaches every task with energy, enthusiasm and a smile.
